Yesterday several Kutztown Volunteers joined in with the Keystone Hook and Ladder conducting some pump/water supply training. This was a good opportunity to showcase the clappered siamese appliance stored on E32 to support the "Rural Hitch".

Units practiced putting this appliance in service to simulate the initial arrival of a rural fire in a non-hydranted area. Using this concept a nurse tanker operation can be put into service for the initial water supply operation and seamlessly transition to a dumpsite operation once a dump site is built out and ready to operation.
