Tonight Members of the Kutztown Volunteer Fire Company, Lebanon County, Presented 12 year old Anthony Brightbill with his very own fire helmet, identifying him as an honorary member of the company. Anthony was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth, and is in a wheel chair. Whenever the fire company is in his development, Anthony was always there to see the fire trucks. He loves the flashing lights, and sirens. For halloween this year, a neighbor made a cardboard replica of Engine 32 from the Kutztown fire company, and they attached it to Anthony’s wheelchair for trick or treat night. Anthony was so excited! His costume was one of a kind! When members of the Kutztown fire company saw Anthony’s costume on trick or treat night, they knew they had to do something special for him, so they agreed to order Anthony his own fire helmet, and make him an honorary member of the fire company!
